Document dates and backdating

How far back you can set a document date, and what admins see.

Quotation, packing list, delivery challan, proforma, invoice, and purchase order share document date rules tied to the organization calendar.

How far back?

Members: up to 7 days in the past.
Company admins and account owner: up to 30 days in the past.
No future document dates for prepare or issue.

Issue time

issued_at is always current server time when you issue — never backdated. Any document date strictly before today is logged for admin/owner under Notifications.
